Centre City is excited to partner with Meridian Energy.
We’ve partnered with Meridian Energy to install two Zero AC chargers on level 2 of our carpark. These chargers will be available for all-electric car owners who need to top up in the New Plymouth CBD.
The Zero network, powered by Meridian Energy, has over 300 charge points, and plans to install more nationwide. While you don’t need to shop at the Centre to use them, standard parking fees will apply for those using the chargers. Each charger has two charge points. You’ll need to bring your own AC charging cable, so remember to keep it handy in your boot.

By downloading the Zero app and creating your account, you’ll be all set to charge when you arrive. Step-by-step instructions on using the chargers are provided in the app and on the side of the chargers.
